Fourth Home: Houston Heights 1920's Bungalow

THE HOUSTON HEIGHTS 1920'S BUNGALOW

All welcome to our current house and one of our biggest undertaken projects to date. This is one of our dream areas and love everything about this area. I wrote about some of the reasons why we were drawn to this location and some details about the property here

Over the next few years I plan to paint the exterior (most likely white with black window trim), landscape, widen front steps, add new exterior lighting, and redo/add deck spaces. (Update we did see below the after and before)

I love how already our interior has caused audible gasps when people walk in and in total disbelief of how bright and modern it looks with vintage vibes.

Our living room and "music" area is the first room when you walk through the front door.

The next areas are the dining and kitchen area, which has undergone the biggest transformation so far in our home. See some before pictures here

See the before and after post I did on our kitchen

Our home has four bedrooms and two baths. One of the rooms I have converted to my office, the other a guest room, Harrison's room, and the master.

My office is probably one of my favorite rooms in the house and really reflects a lot of home design I love, details, books, great textiles, and matching modern with vintage vibes.

Added more accent lighting and this vintage French table as my desk

Harrison's room recently got a new additions with these custom built-ins and bench I designed and help build with my dad. Love a clutter free area and somewhere to put all of his books and toys that are easily accessible from him and tons of room to play.

The old guest room bed is now in Harrison's room

Hallway to our master suite and hallway to Harrison's room.

Our master is great, I wish it was a tad bit bigger, which we have thrown a few fun ideas (once again way down the road) on how to achieve that.
